What can I do if my landlord rented a living room which is stated in my contract as a common use area?

Also to access the garden we had to use a living room, both garden and living room are stated in my contract as the areas I could use. Now 1 person lives there, so I can't access garden for example summer time. Is it legal? Can I do something about that?
